Open Weekend
St Luke's will be hosting an open weekend on 10-12th September. The church will be open from 10am-4pm each day and there will be refreshments provided throughout the weekend.
There will be a variety of displays and exhibitions during the weekend and these will include...

Two Ordinations at St Luke's
On 4th July 2010 there will be two Ordinations at St Luke's Michael Bailey will be ordained at 10:30am as Deacon by the Bishop of Coventry in the Cathedral. The parish are looking forward to the arrival of Fr Michael and wish his all the best as he completes his studies at St Stephen's House in Oxford. Fr Matthew Pittam, who has been Deacon at St Luke’s since October will be ordained Priest by the Bishop of Ebbsfleet at 5:30pm on the same day. on 10th July Fr Matthew will celebrate his first Mass at 12noon and Fr Michael will give his first Benediction at 3pm. Please pray for Fr Matthew and Michael as they prepare for this next stage in their lives. Also pray that more men may offer themselves for training for ordination.

Ebbsfleet Children's Festival at Brean
This annual children's event will take place on Saturday 12th June 2010. As in previous year the event will begin with a Youth Mass followed by an opportunity to spend a few hours on the funfair or the beach.
St Luke's are arranging a coach to this event. Please contact Fr Kit or Fr Matthew if you are interested in going.

Coffee Time
New midweek event at St Luke's
This event will run every Friday from 16th April from 9am-11:30am. This is aimed at young parents and children but everyone is invited to pop along. Real Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Toast and Cake. Toys and activities will also be available for children. Why not pop in during one of the mornings or after the school run?
